A blistering blast in the city's heart
People all trembled.
No lightning, no slice of cloud
In the sky's midst...
Is it some bomb dropped by
Terrorists to blast some obscure spot;
Ran amuck the dreaded ones
with terror-stricken minds;
At once a cry was heard
following a mass wailing from a nook.
The throng sped up there and
Rush and crush ensued
All those ran up whined aloud
with hands crossed over their chests
A 'Fairie Queen'
Blanched in blood off the road
Her lustrous scooter lay beside
And shattered around
were the computer and the note sheets of
scientific lores
Nearby there lay, whining and sobbing
An old crone poor,
Twisting her limbs all pain
Craving for a drop to sip
Stretched out her tongue with her eyes
spying around...
The 'cop-jeep' arrived
with it's red eye aflame.
They held up the 'Fairie Queen'
They held her on stretcher like a 'treasure' anon
Rushed the cab back
with the red eyes aflame again...
straining in pain all the way.
The fair lady thrust out her tongue for a drop
Fresh water served in time
Put back her tongue at once
She stared around, then a pathetic sob
No word did drop from that tongue
that was eager to utter something
Akin to a crest fallen flower,
The fair body stopped all moves.
The old crone yearning for a drop
was at all looked at by none
Her body wrapped in stinking rags
Turned by way a corpse.
Six or seven old men
To the station of cops they marched, and
learnt it a body 'unclaimed'.
The Corporation's possession!
The scene caught the kind eyes of some
volunteer groups
such as environmental and all..
The cop-wagon did reach there at once
with it's red light aflame.
With wrinkled brows and loathe,
they did lift up the corps of the old lady soon.
They ordered to poke it into the Hospital Morgue;
And the issue got worsened no more.
Though in the fore front of 'Letter- Knowledge'
How rank this Malayalee-cult has become!
Rear and bring forth Mother,
Kind-hearted children alone
To assuage their fathers that yearn for a drop.
